Membership Program: Blue & White Shield Membership (“Membership,” “Program”)
1. Program Overview
The Blue & White Shield Membership is a residential roof maintenance and inspection program providing periodic service visits, basic cleaning and inspection tasks, member discounts, and limited benefits. Membership does not guarantee roof performance, prevent leaks, or substitute for professional repairs or replacement.
2. Eligibility
- Residential Properties Only – Program is limited to single-family residential structures. Multi-unit buildings, commercial buildings, or mixed-use properties are not included unless separately contracted.
- Roof Pitch Limit – Standard membership pricing applies only to roofs with a slope up to 6/12 pitch. Roofs exceeding 6/12 pitch are subject to additional fees at the Company’s discretion.
- Height Limit – Standard pricing applies only to structures two stories or fewer. Any portion exceeding two stories may incur additional charges.
- Condition Requirements – Roof must be in a safe, serviceable condition. We reserve the right to decline service if the roof structure, decking, materials, or surrounding conditions are unsafe or hazardous.
- Location – Service area limitations may apply. If the property is outside our standard service radius, travel surcharges may be added.
3. Services Included
The Membership includes the following, as available and applicable:
- A. One (1) Roof Inspection per Membership Term
A 21-point visual inspection including: Attic analysis, ridge/eave ventilation review, underlayment visibility check, flashing/boot/ridge cap checks, storm damage assessment, nails, sealants, adhesive strip condition, granule loss review, gutters/downspouts, tree branch impacts, soffit, fascia, drip edge, decking solidity, step flashing, siding interfaces, and nearby window junctions. - B. One (1) Gutter Leaf Blowout per 6-Month Period
Must be scheduled by appointment. Excessive debris, animal nests, or inaccessible areas may incur extra fees. Additional cleanings beyond the one included may be purchased separately. - C. Member Discounts
10% off qualifying repairs (excludes full roof replacement). 5% off full roof replacement, plus 100% of paid membership fees credited toward the replacement cost. Fee credit applies only if replacement is performed by Branson/Springfield Roof Co. Credits apply one time per Membership term and cannot be transferred, combined, or redeemed for cash. - D. Promotional Item
Members may receive complimentary promotional items (e.g., seasonal socks). These hold no cash value and availability may vary.
4. Limitations of the Program
The Membership is NOT a warranty, insurance policy, or guarantee of performance. It does NOT cover or guarantee prevention of:
- Leaks
- Storm, wind, hail, or impact damage
- Structural damage or sagging
- Mold, rot, or moisture penetration
- Damage caused by improper installation by previous contractors
- Pest infestations
- Ice dams or snow accumulation
- Failures of materials still under manufacturer warranty
Participation in the Program does not extend, replace, or modify any existing warranties from the Company or any manufacturer.
5. Safety & Access
We reserve the right to postpone or decline service due to unsafe conditions including, but not limited to:
- Steep/slippery surfaces
- Severe weather
- Loose shingles, rot, or compromised decking
- Hazardous animals or insects
- Blocked access points
If service is declined due to safety concerns, rescheduling or additional service fees may apply.
6. Scheduling & Cancellation
Member must contact us to schedule maintenance services. Missed or unclaimed services do not roll over. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours prior may incur a rescheduling fee. Company may reschedule for weather, safety, or staffing reasons.
7. Fees & Payment
Membership fees are due upfront and are non-refundable after services have begun. Additional fees may apply for steep roofs, multi-story homes, excessive debris, or conditions requiring additional labor or equipment. Prices are subject to change with written notice.
8. Liability Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law: Company shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages. Company is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damages discovered during inspection or cleaning. Roof access may cause minimal disturbance to aging materials; Company is not liable for breakage associated with normal wear, brittleness, or prior installation faults.
9. Termination
Company may terminate Membership for: Unsafe roof conditions, Non-payment, Fraudulent activity, Misrepresentation of property conditions, Repeated appointment cancellations/no-shows. If terminated for cause, refunds will not be issued.
10. Changes to the Program
Company may modify pricing, benefits, or terms at any time with notice. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
